North Dakota Snow...

Winter storm and possible blizzard conditions will move into North Dakota starting very late Wednesday and continuing into New Years Day. This is going to be a 3 round punch. Round 1 Snow for Northern North Dakota (Devils Lake-Williston Points North) Wednesday Night into Thursday with up to 6-12" of snow . Round 2 Snow for areas east of Bot/Devils Lake/Bismarck starting very early Friday into New Years Eve with up to a foot of snow possible towards Fargo. Round 3 for all North Dakota. Strong winds and dangerous cold wind chills starting late Thursday into New Years Weekend.

Above is Thursday AM's weather map. You can see the heaviest amount of pre-cip/snow will be across Northern ND.

First system is moving out into northern MN. Second wave is moving into KS. There will be a lull in the snow late Thursday night. Before the second system starts to move northeast. Winds will start to Increase late Thursday.

This is Friday Morning Above... Nebraska/South Dakota will more than likely be getting pounded with heavy snow. Winds will be an issue for all of ND by this time creating below zero wind chills and possibly blizzard conditions.

Second storm system moves into MN Friday Night (above) as you can see with this one... Eastern ND/Fargo really taking it on the chin with this one. Dangerous wind chills possibly up to 40 below are possible with strong winds creating blizzard conditions by Friday Night across the entire state. Air temps Friday across most of the state will struggle to get to zero.
